This meticulously hand carved wood block is designed specifically for traditional wood block printing.  Wood blocks like this one are typically used to print prayer flags, but you can also use it to print designs on lokta paper, envelopes, wallpaper, and altar cloths or other fabrics.  This wood block also has a handle with a drilled hole so that it can hang or be displayed in your home.

The wood is intricately carved to feature a Green Tara design as well as the prayers and mantras associated with Tara, the embodiment of the perfected feminine essence, the mother of compassion, mercy, and forgiveness.
